The ingredients needed to prepare Poori:

  1. Prepare 1 & 2/3 cup of wheat flour.
  2. Prepare 2 tbsp of semolina.
  3. You need 1 tsp of red chili powder.
  4. Take 1 tsp of carom seeds.
  5. Get 1 tsp of sesame seeds.
  6. You need Pinch of asafoetida.
  7. Take 1 tbsp of green chili garlic paste.
  8. Use 1 tsp of Turmeric Powder.

  11. Provide As required of beet root pulp.
  12. Use As Required of spinach purée.
  13. Use to taste of Salt.
  14. Get 2 tbsp of ghee.

Steps to make Poori:

  1. First in a big bowl add wheat flour,semolina,sesame seeds,carom seeds,turmeric,salt,ghee,oil,green chili paste,asafoetida,garlic paste,red chili powder,mix everything well..
  2. Divide this flour into three parts. To make pink/beetroot poori, add beetroot pulp in flour and mix well. knead the dough with beetroot pulp & water, leave it for 10 minutes. To make green/spinach poori, add spinach purée in flour and mix well. knead the dough and put it aside for 10minutes. Knead the remaining dough to make yellow/masala poori..
  3. After 10 minutes knead all dough again with little ghee and make small sizes balls..
  4. Now roll poori. You can give different shape to poori like star shape, heart shape and circle shape. Now pooris are ready to fry in hot oil. While frying press puri gently and once it is done take it out..
  5. Serve poori with pickle,milk or ☕️ tea..
