- Use 250 gms of caster sugar.
- Take 250 gms of golden syrup.
- Provide 3 teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda.

- Line a deep square cake tin about 10x10.

- Then take off heat and quickly stir in the bicarbonate of soda until all mixed in.
