The ingredients needed to make Chicken masoor pulav:
- You need 1 cup of whole masoor dal(here we get both small & big in size) 3/4 cup oil.
- Provide 1 kg of chicken,.
- You need 2 spoon of curd.
- Provide 1 block of maggi cube.
- You need of Masala(1 pod of garlic,1 inch ginger,8 green chillies,1 tsp cuminseeds, 1 cup coriander leaves).
- Prepare 1 of sliced onion with 8 black pepper, 5 green cardamom, 2 bay leaves,.
- Prepare 1 stick of cinnamon, 1 tsp cuminseeds & 1 black cardamom.
- Take 3 cups of basmati rice soaked in water for atleast 10 mins.
- Use of Salad(1 cup curd,1 chopped onion,1 chopped tomato,1 green chilli chopped,1 tsp salt & some coriander leaves).
- Get of Some potatoes chopped,2 tbsn salt & 2 cups of water.
Instructions to make Chicken masoor pulav:
- First soak the lentils in warm water(use big size masoor dal) now grind the masala(pic2)slice the onion and remove the whole garam masala..
- Now heat oil in a big vessel, then add onion and garam masala and saute till onions are brown.now add the grinded masala,salt and curd.saute few minutes..
- Now add the chicken pieces and mix well,now add potatoes with lentils and simmer for 5 mins with closed lid.now add rice with 2 cups of water.check seasoning.
- Now when most of water is absorbed by rice give a mix,add little water and cover the lid with cloth.simmer on slow flame for 5 to 10 mins and off flame.open the lid after 5 mins(pic2)give a slight mix.pulav is ready.
- Mix all above ingredients of salad and serve with hot pulav and enjoy(decorate with fried onions and coriander leaves).
