  1. Take a big and deep cooking pan, whisk curd and gram flour to make a smooth batter.
  2. Now add 5 glasses of water,chopped ginger,green chilies and all spices, except boondi..
  3. Let it boil on high flame for 5 - 6 minutes keep stirring constantly..
  4. When it starts boiling then lower the flame and let it simmer for 35 minutes. Keep stirring from time to time.
  5. For Tempering – heat ghee in a small pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and asafoetida,when it start crackling add curry leaves, cloves, when done add chilli powder and pour on the boiling kadhi.
  6. Switch off the flame and add boondi and lemon juice and mix.
  7. Cover the kadhi for 5 minutes so that the boondi will soften and swell up and absorb all the flavors.
  8. Serve hot and delicious Kadhi with Boiled Rice and Chapatis.
