- Prepare 2 cup of cooked basmati rice.
- Use 2 Tbsp of peanuts.
- You need 1/2 tsp of Chana daal.
- Provide 1/2 tsp of urad daal.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of cumin seed.
- Take 1 tsp of coriander seeds.
- Get 1 tsp of sesame seeds.
- Get 4 of dried red chilli.
- Prepare 2 Tbsp of oil.
- Take 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds.
- Prepare leaves of Few curry.
- You need 1 of thin sliced onion.
- Get 1 cup of thin sliced all coloured capsicum.
- Use 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
- You need 1/2 tsp of garam masala.
- Use of Salt as per the taste.
- Prepare of Chopped coriander leaves for the dressing.
Steps to make Bell Pepper Pulav:
- Let’s take the peanuts in a fry pan and dry roast them on low flame until they turn light brown. Now add Chana daal, urad daal, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, dry red chillies and roast them on low flame until they turns aromatic. Now grind them like a coarse powder and keep it aside..
- Now take oil in a pan. When oil is hot then add mustard seeds, curry leaves and splutter them and then add thinly sliced onion and sauté well until light golden brown. Now add thin sliced all coloured capsicum and sauté till shrinks slightly..
- Now add turmeric powder, garam masala, prepared masala powder, add salt and sauté for 1 min. Now the stuff is turns aromatic, let’s add cooked basmati rice and mix it gently and make sure rice are not broken. Now cover with the lid and cook it for 5 mins so the aroma of spices mixed well in the rice. Finally let’s add the chopped coriander leaves, mix well and serve the bell pepper pulav hot along with lemon/lemon juice 😋.
